This nine-story dual-brand hotel has 152 Courtyard guestrooms and 80 Residence Inn suites with one common lobby and reception area.

The Residence Inn suites have fully equipped kitchens and dining areas. The project also included three levels of parking with a total of 226 parking spaces for guests.

Knoxville Marriott Conversion

Knoxville, TN

This CM @ Risk project is the conversion of the existing 233,000-SF, 11 story Holiday Inn into a full-service Marriott hotel. The 302-room hotel has undergone an expansive renovation that has touched nearly every aspect of the property. The interior scope of work includes a complete renovation to all guestrooms and tower, the removal of the indoor guest pool, and addition of a fitness room, Marriott great room, lobby, and M Club Marriott lounge.

Also unveiled is the Maker Exchange, a gathering space, artistic showcase, and culinary scene designed to highlight and embrace Knoxville’s creative maker community.

Parkside Plaza I consisted of a 100,000 SF three-story Office Building, the building includes a mass mat foundation for the entire building footprint totaling 2,016 yards of concrete placed monolithically in a 12 hour day pour.

Parkside Plaza II consisted of a three-story structural steel medical office building. The exterior consists of glass and brick and the building has a membrane roof. Blaine’s scope of work included finishes for 50% of the building totaling in 56,000 SF.

Multiple Locations

Blaine has completed multiple projects for Regal Cinemas throughout the Eastern US.  These projects range from an eight screen, stadium seating theater in a downtown setting, a 20 screen theater with an Imax Movie Theater to a 24 screen complex with a high degree of finishes and stadium seating.

This corporate office building for Scripps Networks, LLC is a four-story office complex designed to accommodate 660 full time employees. Each floor has access to an outdoor living space. The building also has a two-story parking garage capable of holding 561 vehicles. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification in accordance with the USGBC LEED Rating System.

SpringHill Suites

Knoxville, TN

This hotel is a combination of metal and wood stud framing with a stone masonry and EIFS façade. The four-story, 103 room hotel also has an indoor pool, meeting rooms, food prep and breakfast area.

Cirrus Aircraft Training Center and Multiple Aircraft Buildings

Alcoa, TN

The construction scope encompassed the development of a world-class 20,000 SF training center and over 80,000 SF of multiple aircraft buildings. These buildings were constructed with masonry and insulated metal panels on the exterior, as well as finished office spaces on the interior. Additionally, our involvement entailed the installation and maintenance of three flight simulators, including a Level D Full Motion flight simulator.

ORAU MC-1 Office Building

Oak Rige, TN

The MC-1 Office Building at Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) is a fully sprinkled four-level Office Building. The building will serve primarily as executive management offices but will include a state-of-the-art Education Technology Center and Educational Classrooms.

The project achieved LEED Gold Certification in accordance with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Rating System. This is the first office building in the State of Tennessee (and only the third building in the State) to achieve this Certification.

Ted Russell Ford Showroom Expansion and Renovations

Knoxville, TN

This project involved enlarging and renovating the dealer show room and building exterior, adding ACM covered brand walls and entry feature for signage, glass and aluminum window wall perimeter and adding a canopy at the service drive. A fire alarm system and fire protection sprinkler system was added throughout the facility. Interior renovations included new quarry tile paver floors, tinted glass perimeter window system, plastic laminate covered wall panels in the sales offices and a new millwork manager’s station.
